If you are interested in knowing what is the best zone in the city to live, the Warsaw Center of Statistics (Glowny Urzad Statystyczny) published at the end of 2013 a statistical study (the most recent study) to show what is the best district to live in Warsaw.
Warsaw, the Capital of Poland, is the most developed and the biggest city in this country, and also it is the most populated one. So it is really important for the people that live here to know what is the best zone for rent or buy a flat. (Top attractions in Warsaw).
Warsaw has a total of 18 districts. This study did not consider the ‘stereotypes)’ that exist in the people, and the study focused only in the attractiveness of living conditions. The results were shown in 4 different categories: attractiveness of living conditions in general, attractiveness for families with children, attractiveness for singles and attractiveness for seniors.

In the first place in general is the Śródmieście District, this districts is the one that presents the best living conditions. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place are the Districts of Mokotów, Ochota and Wola. In the last positions we can found the Districts: Bemovo, Ursus y Białołęka.

For the families with children, the ideal districts to live are: Śródmieście, Ochota and Mokotów. This is because the closeness of schools, kindergartens and hospitals. The districts that are less attractive for this group are: Białołęka, Wawer y Praga‐Północ.

For the singles (not married / just 1 income) the most important are the closeness of shops, restaurants, clubs and culture institutions. So the best distrcits to live in Warsaw for this group are: Mokotów, Śródmieście y Ochota.And the districts less attractives for this group, in big part because there are no cinemas, museums or theaters, are: Wesoła, Wawer y Rembertów.

Finally for seniors (more than 60 years old), the most attractive districts to live are: Śródmieście, Ochota y Wesoła. This is because of the big development of health institutions in the zone (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, etc.). The districts that are less attractive to live for this groups are: Ursus, Bemowo y Białołęka. Because of the lack of development in infrastructure, also considering the small access to health services those districts are affected in the ranking.
In conclusion, the best districts to live in Warsaw are: Śródmieście and Ochota, because they appear in the Top 3 in all the categories. And the districts that are less attractive are: Wawer and Białołęka, because those both appeared more times in the last places of each category.
